Home Lighting Scene Example-Restaurant

We need to pay attention to artistry and functionality when considering restaurant lighting. Simply pursuing one level is not enough.

From the lighting method we mentioned at the beginning, it is necessary to combine general lighting, task lighting and accent lighting to meet our spiritual needs when dining.

In addition, the lighting mode also needs to be adjusted appropriately according to the function, such as eating dinner, simple family gatherings and housework activities. Different scenes require different lights.

The dimming control system can help us complete the lighting changes required by various scenes.

In restaurants, lanterns are often the focal point of light. Generally, we install it directly above the dining table as a decorative component, which enhances the beauty of the overall decoration. But when dimming, it can produce a candle-like effect. If a downward lighting fixture is installed on the lantern, it can provide task lighting for the desktop and accent lighting for the center of the table.

Recessed or track-mounted luminaires may provide general lighting, while also emphasizing indoor prizes or souvenirs. Recessed downlights can be used as supplementary lighting for the lanterns above the tabletop, and also provide accent lighting for the tableware on the tabletop. We can also use a dimming controller on this lamp to reduce the illumination and use more flexible lights to meet the needs of dining and entertainment.

 

The lighting under the cupboard is usually a place we often forget. A reflector can be used in front of the lamp under the cabinet to reduce the glare of light on the working face. Here, it is recommended to use the common thin tube T4 fluorescent lamps in the market, and the length is considered to be 2 / 3 of the length of the wall mounted cabinet.

 

We can also set up some low-voltage Mini lamps for key lighting in and under the cabinet of the cabinet room.

 

Similarly, in other places with strong concealment, a string of small incandescent lamps can inadvertently illuminate these cabinets, and can also add a warm and comfortable atmosphere to the cabinet room.

Bedroom is an important part of family bedroom. The effect pursued here, to put it mildly, is an atmosphere, creating a quiet and leisure atmosphere, and using local bright lights to meet the needs of reading and other activities. According to the age and lifestyle of the residents, we can use the combination of general lighting and key lighting to arrange the lights. Remember, dimmers allow us to flexibly use lights to meet various psychological and functional needs.

General lighting in the bedroom

Here, we can use a variety of lamps to achieve this effect. Ceiling lamps, lanterns, chandeliers, embedded downlights or wall lamps can provide enough artificial light for simple activities such as dressing.

In the bathroom, what we need is soft, shadowless lighting, so that we can finish shaving, hairdressing, make-up, bathing and other activities. The bathroom is large and small. In a small bathroom, a mirror headlamp can illuminate the whole space through the reflection of the mirror. The bathroom with large area needs to rely on other ceiling lamps to provide general lighting. A 3000K warm white LED light source can give a warm atmosphere to the cold bathroom.

 

For a wall with a face washing mirror, it is required to be illuminated by symmetrical lights on the left and right sides. This will ensure that the light on the left and right sides of our faces is uniform. The lamp position is located on the front of the mirror. Lamps can use glass or plastic diffuse reflectors to soften the light of LED lamps. Now we commonly use LED lights. Then I can choose warm white. They are closer to the warm color of incandescent lamps

The dramatic lighting arranged next to the mirror in our bathroom can also make us experience the feeling of being a star on Broadway.

 

In the shower and bath tray, we can use closed moisture-proof embedded downlights on the ceiling. Such downlights can also be used in the sauna room.

Example of Home Lighting Scene – Study

As a study design, we need to create a soft chlorine enclosure to avoid extremely strong contrast and disturbing glare. We also need task lighting to meet the needs of reading, writing and computer work. At the same time, a certain amount of general lighting for the surrounding environment is also required. At the same time, we also need to consider some key lighting for commemorative items such as trophies and photos to enrich the cultural life of the family.

An adjustable set of desk lamps can give additional lighting to the desktop and computer keyboard area. The target of light cannot directly illuminate the screen to avoid reflection glare.
