In some places, polycarbonate can also be used as a light-transmitting cover. Its greatest advantage is high mechanical strength and good heat resistance. The disadvantage is that it will change the color under the action of ultraviolet radiation, the price is high, and the light transmittance is low.
In order to make the luminaire well sealed and achieve a higher level of dust and water resistance, the contact surface of the shell and the translucent cover must be processed finely to ensure that no obvious gaps are left, but also of good quality (that is, good elasticity and not easy to aging) The sealing rubber ring, such as neoprene, etc. In addition, the connection buckle (buckle) between the translucent cover and the shell is also very important, and its quality will directly affect the sealing performance of the lamp.
