What Is A High Pole Light?
1. Brief Introduction
High-pole light is generally a new type of lighting device consisting of a steel conical pole and a high-power combined light frame over 15 meters.
It is composed of lamp head, internal lamps and lanterns, pole body and foundation parts.
The shape of the lamp head can be determined according to user requirements, the surrounding environment, lighting needs.
Internal lamps and lanterns are mostly composed of floodlights and floodlights, and the light source adopts NG400 high-pressure sodium lamp, with a lighting radius of 60 meters.
The pole is generally a prismatic conical monolithic structure, made of rolled steel plate, with a height of 15-40 meters, mostly composed of two to three sections.
2. Configuration

4.Classification

5. Lifting principle
In the rectangular inner cavity at the bottom of the lift type high pole light, in addition to the installation of the electrical control system also installs electric motors and other lifting systems.
The electrical control system is installed inside the pole, which can avoid the failure of the lifting movement due to the harsh outdoor environment.
Various circuit overload protection devices are provided in the electrical control system.
The conductor of the circuit in the system is widely used copper-based silver plating to ensure good contact of the electrical connection.
The lifting system of the elevated high-pole light is to drive the lifting of the light panel through the motor, (electromagnetic brake type) worm gear reducer, safety coupling, main steel wire rope, vice steel wire rope, rope splitter and dynamic pulley set and other components.
The worm gear reducer has strong self-locking ability, compact transmission and large transmission ratio. In order to reduce the worm gear and worm gear ratio and reduce the rising torque, a set of dynamic pulley is especially added to make the lifting speed of the lamp panel less than 0.2m/s.
The main steel wire rope is connected to the vice steel wire rope of the lamp panel through the rope splitter, which can avoid the winding of the vice steel wire due to the stretching of the main steel wire.
The main and vice steel wire ropes are all made of high-strength corrosion-resistant 6*19 non-rotating galvanized steel wire rope. Lifting pulley set are hot-dip galvanized A3 steel bracket, stainless steel shaft, copper pulley, to ensure that the normal atmospheric conditions do not rust and corrosion running flexible.
All kinds of fasteners, washers, snap rings and other parts are also made of hot-dip galvanized parts or stainless steel.
There are 6 sets of guiding pulleys and more than 3 sets of braking devices on the light panel, which ensure that the light panel does not swing by rolling along the surface of the pole with the guiding pulleys distributed at 120 degrees during the lifting or lowering of the light panel.
The working part of the surface of the guide pulley of the lamp disk in contact with the surface of the lamp pole adopts rubber hot pressing process.
In order to fully guarantee the automatic stop when the light plate reaches the limit position, the rising and falling movement of the light plate are equipped with reliable limit switches and over-travel protection.
The lifting and lowering of the lamp panel is realized by changing the rotation direction of the motor.
In order to prevent theft, the rectangular cavity is equipped with a sealed door, and the sealed door is equipped with a special door lock.
6. Installation method
6.1. Preparation work
(1) Count all components carefully according to the loading and packing list.
(2) Check whether the components are broken, bent or twisted, and whether the zinc layer is damaged.
(3) The label on each section of the pole indicates the type, order number and number of sections of the pole.
The weight of the pole is marked on the inside of the pole with a colored pen. Check whether the shipment is correct and whether the lifting capacity of the crane is sufficient.
(4) Based on the maximum and minimum socket length provided on the drawing, mark the rod for socketing.
6.2. Assembly work
(1) Each splice is provided with a set of splice lengths, but due to manufacturing, installation errors and physical factors, etc., there is variation in the splice length, so the maximum and minimum splice lengths are provided.
(2) In order to make the installation easy, it may be necessary to lubricate the mating surface.
Note that no lubricant should be used to prevent leakage and contamination of the rod, soapy water can be used to lubricate the inner and outer surfaces of the socket.
(3) Apply the necessary force at both ends of the socket to obtain a tight socket.
